EARLY START PROGRAM

EDUCATOR/Bilingual - English/Spanish: Full-time and substitute positions available in Arleta/North Hollywood area managing assigned classroom and/or home visits, individual program planning, case management & progress evaluation; implementation of daily schedules & classroom routines that accommodate the children's needs.  Requires: BA & 12 Early Childhood Education units; 1 year experience teaching or training and working with 0-5 year olds and/or their parents; must have own transportation, valid CDL & insurable driving record.  Also must be bilingual English/Spanish   Minimum $15.00/hr. 

 

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: Full and Part Time positions.  Under the supervision of the program manager, provide comprehensive occupational therapy case management for children from birth - 3 years of age.  Develop treatment plans for and provide concise documentation. One-year full time OT experience (minimum 6 months experience with pediatric population); current license required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.  Forward resume listing specific experience working with children with developmental delays and salary requirement. ADULT PROGRAMS

JOB COACH: Full-Time position available in Los Angeles/Culver City.  Provides individualized vocational training to trainees and organizes all aspects of job site placements.  Must have a High School diploma with one year experience working with individuals (preferably adults) with developmental, learning, emotional or physical disabilities in a direct client service position.  $9.50 - $11.50/hr            

 

INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS INSTRUCTOR: Full-time position available in Los Angeles.  Develop and implement a program to teach independent living skills to clients enrolled in the program. High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months experience working with special needs population; and must have reliable transportation and valid California Driver's license, and auto insurance required.

 

DEVELOPMENT

VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT & EXTERNAL RELATIONS: Full-time position available in Culver City.  Requires Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Relations and a minimum of five (5) years top-level management experience with responsibilities for strategic planning, business development, marketing and sales, public relations, project management, high level writing and report preparation, fund-raising, grant proposal writing, and analytical work.  Must have excellent writing skills and ability to create and maintain donor relationships. 

 

FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR: Full-time position available in Culver City.  Requires bachelor degree with major coursework in public relations, journalist, English, communications, speech, or a closely related field.  Minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible work experience in grant writing, performing public relations, community outreach, fund/program development and/or program management functions in public or private organizations.  Experience with nonprofit child-centered direct services organizations and knowledge of early childhood development and intervention services is preferred.

 

KAYNE ERAS CENTER

SCHOOL:                                                                   

CREDENTIALED SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (Middle & High School): Full-Time position available in Culver City. Teaching experience in special education setting required.  Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills; create lesson plans, curriculum plans, implementing multiple student IEP goals, simultaneously such that student success is fostered.  Manage behaviors, documents incidents, and meet deadlines.  Must have a valid CA State Special Education Credential or Internship Special Education Credential required.  If in an Internship program must provide proof of enrolled in an approved internship program. $20/hr

 

THERAPY & SUPPORT:

DATS ADMINSITRATIVE COORDINATOR: Full-Time position available in Culver City. Manage and coordinator the DATS and Nonpublic Agency services and activities related to Educational Therapy and Behavior Services.  Coordinates all administrative duties related to correspondence, act as a liaison between various departments, school district and state education offices.  This position requires a high school diploma, college courses in administration/business related field preferred and four years experience in office management or administration and two years experience in a supervisory capacity.  Must have excellent computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of Welligent and NPA Works a plus.  

 

BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST:  Part-Time positions available in Culver City and Los Angeles area. The position requires a minimum of 1 year experience working with special needs children and knowledge of the autistic spectrum and must have familiarity with the concepts of ABA, Floor Time, Discrete Trial Training, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), and how to implement a specific program designed to enhance learning, cooperation in the classroom, and peer relationships.  Work in a classroom, clients serves in Culver City, West Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Bi-lingual a plus.   A minimum of: High School diploma and 4 years experience working with special needs children and knowledge of the autistic spectrum or AA degree or equivalent in Early Childhood education and 2 years experience working with special needs children and knowledge of the autistic spectrum or BA degree and 6 months experience working with special needs children and knowledge of the autistic spectrum

 

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

BILINGUAL MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST: Full-Time positions available in Culver City. Provide Mental Health Services to SED, LD & DD youth and their families at Kayne Eras Center and in the home.  Comply with all documentation requirements in a timely manner.  Board of Behavioral Science registered or licensed.  DMH experience preferred.
