ADULT PROGRAMS

RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT: Part-Time positions available. LEAD ART INSTRUCTOR: Full-Time position available in Los Angeles.  Implement a quality program under the general supervision of the Program Art Director.  Ability to teach art effectively and implement special education and behavior treatment plans with developmentally disabled and/or emotionally disturbed adults in facility and community based setting.  Must have good written and verbal communications and possess positive disposition and overall outlook.  BA + minimum of one art skill area; previous supervisory experience preferred.  OD: HS diploma with 2 years related experience and concentration in at least one art specialty area; previous supervisory experience preferred.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: Full-Time/Part-Time position available in Culver City (School):  OTR/L who has 1-year school-based experience.  Must graduate from an accredited program, approved by AOTA, current CA state license as well as NBCOT certification.  Knowledge of a broad range of treatment modalities, especially sensory integration and NDT. 

 

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES:

LAC DMH QA/PROGRAM COORDINATOR: Full-Time position available in Culver City.  Provides services for our mental health program.   The position is responsible for QA of program and projects, clinical documentation, program billing, and management of all data related to DMHS IS.  Duties include submitting claims, generating month-end reports, and providing administrative support for Director and clinicians.  Must be computer literate, detail oriented, flexible and well organized.  Spanish speaking highly desired.  Position reports directly to program director.

 

BI-LINGUAL MFT INTERN OR THERAPIST: Full-Time/Part-Time positions available in Culver City.  Must be licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Science.  1-2 years post degree experience working with SED and LD youth and their families, DMH documentation experience, strong clinical, verbal and writing skills, and be organized, self-starter and a team player.  Position reports directly to program director.

 

THERAPY & SUPPORT:

EDUCATIONAL THERAPIST: Full-Time/Part-Time position available in Culver City.  Provide direct service to clients in specialized education and/or psychological therapy.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.  Knowledge of assessment, therapeutic methods, materials and program design.  Position requires a valid CA state Special Education Teacher credential with experience as an educational therapist or Special Education Internship program for the credential.  Master degree preferred.

 

SPEECH THERAPIST or CFY INTERNS: Experience Speech Pathologist or CFY Interns to provide evaluation and treatment of students from ages 2 and up with various disabilities (language delay, learning disability, autism, and phonological disorders).  Position requires current CA State license and certificate of Clinical competence (CCC) in Speech Pathology, M.A. in Speech Pathology.

 

BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST:  Part-Time positions available in Culver City.  Must have experience working with special needs children with Developmental Disabilities.  Work in a classroom, clients in Culver City, West Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley.  Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.  Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis, Discrete Training, Floor Time or Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders a must.  Bi-lingual a plus. 

 

BEHAVIOR SUPERVISOR:  Full-Time position available in Culver City.  Provide direct behavior consultation services to Behavior Specialist, teachers and parents.  Assist Behavior Specialist with data collection and recording of client progress, development of behavior assessments and plans.  Completed Masters Degree in related field, Bachelor degree preferred but not required.  Experience working with behavior problems and issues related to autism.

 

ADMINISTRATION:

RECEPTIONIST (Bi-Lingual):  Full-Time position available in Culver City. Position requires 1-year receptionist experience with excellent customer services, people skills and basic computer skills.  A high personable individual to answer busy phone and receiving clients and guests.  Assist with processing mail, copying and faxing when necessary and serving as evening dispatch for the After School Club until closing.
