INFORMAL DIAGNOSTIC TESTING

The Kayne Eras Center Agency provides affordable comprehensive educational and psychological testing for children and adults. Informal diagnostic testing provides a broad range of information for evaluating current learning styles and issues and for desgining a therapeutic remediation program.  These evaluations include diagnostic tests, clinical observations and assessments, a written report and consultation to review test results and recommendations.

Costs for services are determined on an individual basis after a thorough review by the Agency Director. Clients may pay privately or, if granted, use funding provided through Regional Centers or School Districts.

IN-DEPTH PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL TESTING

For individiuals who need a more in-depth evaluation, the Agency offers comprehensive assessments by a licensed psychologist.  A battery of psycho-educational (including IQ testing) and social/emotional tests is administered and followed by a conference and written report outlining results and specific recommendations.  Letters that specify needed accommodations can be sent to various institutions.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE EVALUATIONS

Licensed Speech and Language Pathologists offer comprehensive evaluation that provides information on speech and language processing, articulation problems and expressive or receptive language deficits. Clinical evaluation is followed by a conference with a written report and recommendations for treatment.

The cost for speech and language evaluations is determined on an individual basis after a thorough review by the Agency Director. Clients may pay privately or use funding provided through Regional Centers or School Districts.
