Kayne Eras Center

Enrichment

In the academic setting of Kayne Eras School, the purpose of enrichment activities is to help our youngsters develop self-esteem, physical coordination, social skills, self-expression, a sense of exploration, the ability to begin taking risks and a sense of teamwork.

For many of our children and youth, Kayne Eras enrichment programs are their main access to creative activities. These programs provide an outlet for excess physical and emotional energy locked in our children. Parents and teachers of children who participate in enhancement activities extol the benefits gained from these experiences. For example, teachers note that after a few months of participation in the sports program, students’ attitudes toward school improve and they demonstrate more self-discipline in the classroom.

Our enrichment goal is to provide a wide learning base to help our children develop as individuals; help them learn to form and express their own opinions; heighten their creativity; and develop teamwork, ensemble and individual skills.
