SPEECH AND LANGUAGE EVALUATION

The Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services Speech Department offers speech and language evaluations that provide information on oral motor function, articulation, receptive and expressive language, stuttering, and voice deficits. These evaluations are performed for the following age groups: 18 months to adulthood. Clinical evaluation is followed by a written report and recommendations for treatment.

SPEECH SCREENINGS

We also offer speech screenings to local private preschool and elementary schools. The purpose of these screenings is to identify potential speech disorders that have not previously been diagnosed, and/or identify additional needs of students who are currently being served. These screenings are held at the school site.

SPEECH THERAPY

 Speech Therapy is designed to improve a variety of speech impairments such as:

• Aphasia
• Articulation delay/disorder
• Hearing Loss
• Oral motor dysfunction
• Receptive/Expressive language delays
• Stuttering
• Voice Disorders

Location of services:

• Clinic-based speech therapy is available at our agency location in Culver City.
• Both in-home and clinic-based speech therapy are offered through Regional Center.

All Speech Pathologists are licensed and certified by the state of California. Please inquire regarding our private speech therapy rates. Clients may also use funding provided through Regional Centers or School Districts. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
