In celebration of ECF’s 70th Anniversary in 2016, we hosted the ECF 70th Anniversary Gala, at which Suzanne & Ric Kayne were honored for their enduring commitment to people with special needs. These videos were debuted at the Gala.

In 1946, a group of parents, driven by a vision and love for their children who were born with developmental disabilities, created the Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF). Since then, ECF has helped tens of thousands of children and adults with special needs live with dignity, self-respect and happiness. ECF’s mission is to provide the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities – empowering them to reach their greatest potential. ECF provides programs and services to over 2,000 infants, youths, adults and their families each year. Clients served include people with learning and emotional disabilities, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and related conditions. ECF Art Services is collaboration between ECFs Packaging, Assembly and Rework Services and the ECF Art Centers. The program teams adults with developmental disabilities alongside artists and craftsmen to manufacture and offer goods and services to the art community. The result is an ultra-premium, competitively priced product; affordable enough for the serious student while offering a level of quality that will impress even the most discerning of professionals.
